The 11+ Club
At First Class Education, we specialise in bespoke 11+ tuition tailored to support every child on their journey to success.
We offer personalised 1:1 tuition delivered either in the comfort of your family home or in our purpose-built garden room in Great Waltham, Chelmsford. Sessions are designed to build confidence, strengthen core skills, and prepare students thoroughly for the demands of the 11+ exam.
New for September!
Due to popular demand, we’re excited to launch small group 11+ tuition sessions at Great Waltham Village Hall. These sessions will run every Monday during term time from 5:30pm–7:30pm.
This is a unique opportunity, as each group is limited to just 12 children, ensuring plenty of individual attention and support. Sessions will cover both Maths and English and will always be led by two experienced tutors who work closely together to deliver high-quality teaching and learning.

Louise Edwards
Founder & Lead Tutor
Louise is a qualified and experienced teacher with over 10 years in the classroom. The majority of her career has been dedicated to teaching Year 6 pupils, helping them build confidence and prepare for the transition to secondary school. She also spent 7 years as an Assistant Headteacher, leading with a focus on academic excellence and pupil development. Louise is passionate about teaching and learning, and she is committed to helping every child reach their full potential.
Shobha Sunkara
11+ Tutor
With over 7 years of experience in education, Shobha is a dedicated tutor and teaching assistant who specialises in building maths confidence and exam readiness. She began her career with two years of one-to-one 11+ tutoring and has spent the last five years supporting pupils in the classroom. Shobha runs a successful 11+ Maths Club (4 years) and a Year 6 Maths Club (2 years), and currently leads Year 6 maths lessons twice a week. Shobha offers patient, targeted support that gets results
